Colonial Revival architecture
Colonial Revival architecture was and is a nationalistic design movement in the United States and Canada; it seeks to revive elements of architectural style, garden design, and interior design of American colonial architecture. The Centennial Exhibition of 1876 reawakened Americans to their colonial past.
