Centro

Curitiba's old town, Centro is dotted with green spaces like Praça Tiradentes, with traces of the original city under glass, and Passeio Público, a park with a lake and small zoo. Mainstream shops line Rua XV de Novembro, known as Rua das Flores for its large vases of colorful blooms. The modernist Centro Cultural Teatro Guaíra puts on dance and music performances, while clubs play electronica and Brazilian funk.
