George Walton Academy is an independent, coeducational college-preparatory school serving students from pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade. GWA is located in Monroe, Georgia, which is 45 miles east of Atlanta and 25 miles west of Athens. Established in 1969, GWA sits on 61 landscaped, wooded acres.
