Theophrastus

Theophrastus was a Greek philosopher and the successor to Aristotle in the Peripatetic school. He was a native of Eresos in Lesbos. His given name was Τύρταμος; his nickname Θεόφραστος was given by Aristotle, his teacher, for his "divine style of expression".
