Aunt Polly

Aunt Polly, fictional character, Tom Sawyer's aunt and guardian in Mark Twain's The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876). Aunt Polly is a kindhearted, rather simple old woman who takes her responsibility for Tom and his half-brother Sid very seriously.
