Calyptraeidae

The Calyptraeidae are a family of small to medium-sized marine prosobranch gastropods. This family includes the slipper snails, the Chinese hat snails, and the cup-and-saucer snails among others. The Calyptraeidae are the only family in the superfamily Calyptraeoidea.
