Lythraceae

Lythraceae is a family of flowering plants, including 32 genera with about 620 species of herbs, shrubs and trees. The larger genera include Cuphea, Lagerstroemia, Nesaea, Rotala, and Lythrum. It also includes the pomegranate and the water caltrop.
