Democratic Psychiatry

Democratic Psychiatry is an Italian real society, as well as a movement for liberation of the ill and weak from segregation in mental hospitals, by pushing for the Italian psychiatric reform. The movement was political in nature but not antipsychiatric in the sense in which this term is used in the Anglo-Saxon world.
