Narmada Bachao Andolan

Narmada Bachao Andolan is an Indian social movement spearheaded by native tribals, farmers, environmentalists and human rights activists against a number of large dam projects across the Narmada River, which flows through the states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
