Sekban-i Djedid Army
The Sekban-ı Cedid Army was a brief and unsuccessful attempt by Alemdar Mustafa Pasha to revive the Nizam-ı Cedid Army, based on European models. The attempt failed as the Janissaries revolted and killed Alemdar Mustafa Pasha.
