Bloomfield Hills is a city located in Metro Detroit's northern suburbs in Oakland County in the U. S. state of Michigan, 20. 2 miles northwest of downtown Detroit. The city is almost completely surrounded by Bloomfield Township. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 3,869.
