Dharwad

Dharwad is an administrative district of the state of Karnataka in southern India and is the cultural headquarters of North Karnataka. The administrative headquarters of the district is the town of Dharwad, also known as Dharwar. Dharwad is famous for its Dharwad Peda – a milk based sweetmeat.
