Karanganyar Regency

Karanganyar Regency is a regency in the Indonesian province of Central Java. It covers an area of 767.79 km² and had a population of 813,196 at the 2010 Census and 931,963 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 947,642. Its capital is the town of Karanganyar.
