Venlo

Venlo is a city in the southeast of the Netherlands, near the German border. In the center, the Museum van Bommel van Dam showcases modern art. Close by, the Limburgs Museum has Stone Age relics and visual art from around the region. Sint Martinuskerk is a Gothic church with a sculpted baroque pulpit. Overlooking bustling Markt square, the 16th-century, Renaissance-style Stadhuis (Town Hall) survived WWII air raids.
