Epitonium

Epitonium is a genus of small predatory sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks. Epitonium is the type genus of the family Epitoniidae, the wentletraps. The common name wentletraps is derived from the Dutch word wenteltrap, denoting a spiral staircase.
