Macrognathus

Macrognathus is a genus of eel-like fish of the family Mastacembelidae of the order Synbranchiformes. These fish are distributed throughout most of South and Southeast Asia. Macrognathus species feed on small aquatic insect larvae as well as oligochaetes.
