Maianthemum

Maianthemum is a genus of rhizomatous, herbaceous, perennial flowering plants, native to the understory of woodlands. It is widespread across much of North America, Europe and Asia. In the APG III classification system, Maianthemum is placed in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Nolinoideae.
