Bathampton

Bathampton is a quaint village at the edge of Bath surrounded by bird-rich wetlands and meadows. Traditional pubs with lively beer gardens dot the banks of the River Avon, drawing walkers and cyclists. Colourful narrowboats moor along the Kennet and Avon Canal, which is overlooked by photogenic old cottages and grand Victorian villas. The 19th-century Batheaston Toll Bridge links to a neighbouring village.
