Ciudad del Carmen

Ciudad del Carmen is a city in southeast Mexico. It sits on Isla del Carmen, between the Gulf of Mexico and Laguna de Términos, a protected natural area with dolphins and turtles. The city is known for its colonial buildings, seafood and beaches, like Playa Norte. The Museo Victoriano Nieves showcases local history and pre-Hispanic artifacts. The Puente Zacatal bridge links the city with the mainland.
