Mersin Province
Mersin Province lies on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, east of the city of Antalya. Its ancient cities include Tarsus, allegedly the birthplace of St. Paul and now home to St. Paul’s Church, featuring painted ceiling frescoes. Southwest of Tarsus is the provincial capital, also called Mersin. Among the city’s highlights is Atatürk Park, with its seafront promenade. Mersin Museum displays archaeological finds. ― Google
