Treptow-Köpenick

The sprawling Treptow-Köpenick borough includes Treptower Park, with the huge Soviet War Memorial, and Plänterwald, home to abandoned amusement park Spreepark, open for tours. The once-industrial areas Oberschöneweide and Niederschöneweide are full of artists' studios and galleries. The Funkhaus Berlin multipurpose venue, once East German radio headquarters, has recording studios and hosts concerts and events.
