A Story of David

Renowned for his courageous deeds as a youth when he slew Goliath, David (Jeff Chandler) inadvertently incurs the wrath of King Saul (Basil Sydney), who is jealous of the hero's popularity. In order to provide peace of mind for the Israelite king, Saul's scheming counselor, Doeg (Peter Arne), encourages the ruler to have David killed.
