A Year Without Love

Pablo (Juan Minujín) is a young writer who is dying of AIDS. Lonely and poor, he shares an apartment with an aunt (Mimí Ardú) and looks for love -- or at least companionship -- in gay bars and personal ads. Drawn into the world of bondage, Pablo finds a way to turn his pain into pleasure while seeking a cure for his affliction.
