Bertie and Elizabeth

The story of Elizabeth, later the Queen Mother, and Bertie, Duke of York, from their marriage in 1923 to his death in 1952. Life changed for the family when the abdication crisis of 1936 put Bertie on the throne as George VI, and shortly after the coronation, the country was plunged into World War II.
