Blondes at Work

Ace reporter Torchy Blane (Glenda Farrell) begins snooping on the casework done by her cop boyfriend, Lt. Steve McBride (Barton MacLane). With her quick wits, even faster mouth and clues she gathers from her sneaky tactics, she's continually able to outfox her competitors and keep the paper she writes for on top. But, when Torchy starts beating the cops to the punch by uncovering leads in a high-profile murder case, she gets Steve in bad with his superiors and herself in trouble with the law.
