Canterbury's Law
Elizabeth Canterbury is a feisty defense attorney who thinks nothing of putting her career on the line as she tackles high-risk and often unpopular cases. Elizabeth and her law professor husband Matt have settled in Providence, R. I. , hoping to distance themselves from the still-unsolved disappearance of their young son. Ironically, however, Elizabeth's determination to win justice for her clients only drives home the fact that she and Matt have won no such justice for themselves. Her colleagues include Russell Krauss, an attorney who unfairly was forced out of his job with the local district attorney's office after facing down his corrupt boss, and associates Chester Grant, a congressman's son, and Molly McConnell, who often finds herself disagreeing with Elizabeth.
