Caravan to Vaccarès

An American drifter on the French Riviera is hired to escort a mysterious Eastern European scientist to New York, but the task proves more difficult and dangerous than he had anticipated, and he's almost killed before his assignment has even begun. Along the way, he picks up an attractive hitchhiker who's going to the annual gypsy festival at Saint Maries.
