Dark Asylum

A serial killer known by the moniker "the Trasher" (Larry Drake) is apprehended unintentionally by the police. They confine him temporarily to a wing of a nearby asylum that is on the brink of closing and devoid of other inmates. A psychiatrist (Paulina Porizkova) arrives to examine the Trasher -- who promptly escapes -- and gets herself locked in the abandoned asylum while the killer roams free.
