An old hermit (Ed Nelson) who lived outside of dusty Furnace Flats, N. M. , dies, and his nephew, Nick (also Nelson), arrives in town. Everyone likes Nick at first, especially pretty Nell Lucas (Jean Allison), who used to deliver milk to his uncle.
