Doing Time

A gun collector, Hanawa (Tsutomu Yamazaki), is arrested and convicted of possessing illegal firearms. He's sentenced to three years inside a minimum-security prison. Although the facility is no hell on earth, most people would understandably hate the ordeal -- but not Hanawa, who considers the clockwork minutiae of prison life anything but depressing.
