Empire Girls: Julissa and Adrienne

Actresses Julissa Bermudez and Adrienne Bailon are two of America's top young Latina thespians who became close friends while working together on a movie in 2006. This docu-series follows them as they hit the streets of New York to build their careers and try to find love, while also maintaining their fabulous lifestyles and busy social calendars. Both have professional goals to achieve by the age of 30, a deadline that is approaching for both. The goal Bermudez strives for is to become the Latin version of Tyra Banks, while Bailon wants to be seen as an acting, singing and dancing triple threat, similar to Jennifer Lopez. But she feels the need to shed her child-star past to reach that goal. Even with those lofty ambitions, the ladies' careers ultimately take a backseat to their quests to find true love.
