Though he considers himself a bust, playwright and screenwriter Paul (David Paymer) is drawing lots of attention from the creative community. Theatrical producer Carla (Rosalind Chao) wants to mount a production of one of Paul's scripts, and documentarian Sam's (Judge Reinhold) latest project will focus on Paul's career.
