For Love Alone
In 1930s Australia, Teresa (Helen Buday) is a young woman who feels as though she's shackled to her life as a caretaker for her widowed father. In order to escape the tedium of her everyday life, she takes part in a series of romantic trysts. After a fling with charming professor Johnathan (Hugo Weaving), she finds her way into a steady relationship with a banker (Sam Neill), but she soon begins to yearn for independence again. She must then choose between love and sexual freedom.
