Hernals

The northwestern area of Hernals, the 17th District, borders the Vienna Woods, with hilly green spaces offering trails, picnic spots and city views. The Dornbach and Neuwaldegg areas have a village feel and are dotted with villas. The southeastern area has a multicultural urban vibe, with down-to-earth Viennese pubs and Turkish shops. Hernals is home to long-established cabaret theaters Kulisse and Metropol.
