Hoff the Record

Shot in the style of a documentary, this semi-improvised comedy follows a fictionalized version of David Hasselhoff as he tries to revive his career in the U. K. The international TV hero of "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch" fame is followed 30 years after a series of unsuccessful marriages and bad career choices. When the Hoff is offered a part in a U. K. movie, he gets the low-budget treatment when he arrives on set. After a series of clashes with the crew, the actor leaves the movie project to pursue something more worthwhile. …
