Killing Heat
In Rhodesia in the early 1960s, aging secretary Mary (Karen Black) staves off impending spinsterhood by marrying struggling farmer Dick Turner (John Thaw). Their loveless marriage grows increasingly troubled as the city-born Mary finds it impossible to adjust to rural life, and Dick's recurrent illness jeopardizes the future of their farm.
