Lightning the White Stallion

Barney Ingram (Mickey Rooney) is a millionaire with a serious gambling problem. It's so serious, in fact, that his creditor, Emmett Fallon (Martin Charles Warner), tired of hounding Barney to pay his debts, steals his prize stallion. The horse, however, escapes from Emmett's clutches and is befriended by plucky schoolgirl Stephanie Ward (Isabel García Lorca), who is losing her sight and needs an expensive operation. She enters a jumping competition with her new horse, aiming for the top prize.
