Widower Santiago (Tommy Muniz) retires from his accounting career. His children, now grown, no longer live at home, and Santiago deals with his loneliness by going for strolls in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During one of his jaunts, he meets Angelina (Gladys Rodríguez), a mysterious woman who piques his interest.
