Mercy Mission: The Rescue of Flight 771

A single-engine passenger plane flying a crisscrossing route to New Zealand loses its navigational bearings over the Pacific Ocean. The plane's pilot, Jay Parkins (Scott Bakula), manages to make radio contact with a nearby commercial airplane captained by Gordon Vette (Robert Loggia), a one-time flight navigator.
