On the Menu
Headlined by host Ty Pennington and chef/mentor Emeril Lagasse, "On the Menu" features amateur cooks creating dishes for U.S. eateries, such as a burger for Chili's, pizza for California Pizza Kitchen, pasta dish for Buca di Beppo, and an Asian meal for The Cheesecake Factory. Each hourlong episode begins by testing four cooks' grasp of that week's chain. Three get to create dishes -- judged by diners, whose comments prompt refinements. Two contestants remain and serve to judges Ty, Emeril and the restaurant's reps. The winner's creation appears on the menu the next day. … MORE
