CNN hopes Piers Morgan's got talent to bring in the ratings and make a dent in the stranglehold Fox News has on prime-time cable news. Morgan, a former judge on NBC's "America's Got Talent" and a longtime journalist in the United Kingdom, occupies the time slot formerly held for years by Larry King. On "Piers Morgan Live," the host conducts candid, in-depth interviews of newsmakers, much like King did, except Morgan won't hesitate to challenge his guests or ask a needed follow-up question from time to time. The program debuted in 2011 as "Piers Morgan Tonight" but was given a new title two years later to fit Morgan's desire to host the show live. …
