"Spain is a peaceful forest," General Franco pronounces, but in the bleak woods outside Madrid, Milagros (Alicia Sanchez) discovers different, darker truths. Returning to the home of her beloved Angel (Ovidi Montllor), Milagros meets his scowling, overbearing and terrifying mother (Lola Gaos).
