Prairie Fire

A Prairie Fire is a mixed drink consisting of whiskey, or another strong liquor, and hot sauce. Many variations of a Prairie Fire in "shot" form exist. It is believed that the practice of mixing whiskey and hot sauce originated in the American Midwest as a punishment for patrons that lost bar bets in the 1970s.
