Princess from the Moon

Having lost a child, Taketori-no-Miyatsuko (Toshirô Mifune) and his wife (Ayako Wakao) can't believe it when a bright light deposits a baby in the forest by their house. They decide to keep her, naming her Kaya (Yasuko Sawaguchi), and are amazed when she grows overnight from infancy to childhood.
