Juan (José Luis García Pérez) and Dami (Roberto Enríquez) are brothers and rivals. Dami steals Juan's childhood sweetheart, Charo (Pilar Castro), and marries her. Juan gets back at him by having an affair with her -- until Charo dies in a car accident. Years later, Juan seeks escape in a coastal town, where he lives with his niece and mentally disabled younger brother (Andrés Gertrúdix).
