Set for Life
Late-night funnyman Jimmy Kimmel hosts this game show in which contestants strive to win a monthly paycheck for as little as one month or as long as 40 years (defined by the show as "for life"). The player must randomly choose from 15 "light sticks," and, for each white light selected, he increases the length of time he will receive his paycheck. Each time he chooses a red light, however, the amount of time goes down and, after four red lights, the game is over. Meanwhile, the contestant's partner, or "guardian angel," sits in a soundproof isolation booth, where he can stop the game at any time by pushing a button, in hopes of ensuring that his partner goes home with at least some money.
