The Conjugal Bed

At the age of 40, Alfonso (Ugo Tognazzi) marries Regina (Marina Vlady), a beautiful young woman determined to have a child as soon as possible. Despite artificial stimulation from hormone shots, Alfonso soon finds himself exhausted by his much younger wife's constant demands for sex. As Alfonso becomes more and more worn out, Regina takes increasing control of the household. Desperate for some rest, Alfonso flees to a seaside resort -- but Regina comes after him.
