The title of this documentary series reveals the outcome of the featured event, the 2014 congressional run of former "American Idol" contestant Clay Aiken. The show follows the singer, running on the Democratic ticket in North Carolina's 2nd District, from the time he decides to enter the race through the primary -- which ended with the sudden death of his opponent -- and the November election in which Aiken faced Republican incumbent Renee Ellmers. The crew embed themselves in Aiken's campaign as he works on strategy with his team, prepares for debates and meets the electorate.
