A murderous bandit terrorises a Mexican village, and a idealistic Irish priest is the only person willing to stand up to him. The cleric arrives in the village determined to build his congregation as a base to oppose the bandit and his henchmen, but has to make a tough decision when a young woman who has fallen in love with him is used as a pawn in the bandit's deadly game.
