The Singing Vagabond

After an argument with her overbearing aunt, Lettie Morgan (Ann Rutherford) hitches a ride to California on a wagon train. Capt. Tex Autry (Gene Autry) comes to the rescue when the caravan is attacked, but is soon under investigation when Lettie complains that he harassed her about traveling safely. While Autry deals with the consequences of Lettie's complaint, he learns she's been kidnapped by two outlaws. With help from his pal, Frog (Smiley Burnette), Autry rides out to save her. …
